No cookies. No analytics. No advertising or tracking pixels. This site loads no third-party scripts of any kind. We cannot tell you how many people visited a page, because we don't measure it.
Our host, Netlify, keeps standard server access logs (IP address, timestamp, page requested) as any web server does. Those are Netlify's, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, and we don't analyse them.
If you submit a form — the contest doors, or the "help me determine the best solution" form — we collect your first name and your email address. Contest entries additionally record which door you found, because that is the game. Nothing else, and no hidden fields.
Purchases run through Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your payment card details directly. We never receive, see or store your card number.
From a purchase we do receive: your name, your business name, your email address, your billing country and postal code, and the answers to the four questions on the payment page — your HubSpot Portal ID, which HubSpot hubs and tier you're on, whether your organization permits third-party AI processing of CRM data, and anything you chose to tell us before we start.
We ask for none of that out of curiosity. The Portal ID is how we find your account, the hub and tier tell us what we're allowed to build, and the AI answer is the one we read before touching anything.
This is the part that matters most, so we'll be plain about it.
To do the work you bought, you grant us administrative access to your HubSpot portal. That portal contains personal data about your contacts, customers and employees — people who have no relationship with us and never agreed to anything with us.
In data-protection terms: you are the controller of that data and we are a processor. We access it only to perform the work you purchased, we act only on your instructions, and we do not use it for any purpose of our own. We do not add your contacts to our mailing list. We do not use your CRM data to train any model. We do not sell, rent or share it.
We take the least access that will do the job, and we ask you to remove our access when the engagement ends. If you don't, we will ask you again.
FaeWorks work is performed with AI assistance. That is the product, not a footnote — it's why a build takes five days instead of five weeks. Purchasing and granting portal access is your sign-off on it, and the terms say so too.
In practice this means data from your portal — records, property values, form and workflow configuration — is sent to third-party AI providers for processing as part of doing the work.
What we require of any AI provider we use for client work:
If your organization does not permit third-party AI processing of CRM data, say so before you buy — or answer "No" on the payment page and we'll refund you rather than start work your policy doesn't allow. We would rather lose the sale than put you in breach of your own rules.
We keep this list short on purpose, and we keep it current:
That's the whole list. We don't sell data, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't run a data broker relationship with anyone.
Contest and enquiry entries: kept while the contest runs and for up to 24 months after, so we can contact you about what you asked about. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.
Customer records: kept for the life of the relationship and then for as long as we're required to keep business and tax records — seven years for financial records under US practice.
Your portal data: we don't keep a copy. Working material generated during a build is deleted within 90 days of delivery, except the deliverable itself, which is yours and which we retain so we can answer questions about it later.
If you give us your email through a form or a purchase, we may email you about FaeWorks products and the contest. Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. You can also just reply and ask, and a human will do it.
We don't buy lists and we don't email people who never gave us their address.
Whatever jurisdiction you're in, we'll honour these: you can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and ask us to stop emailing you. Write to info@faeworks.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're in the EEA or UK, that includes your rights under the GDPR, including the right to object to processing and to complain to your supervisory authority. If you're in California, it includes your rights under the CCPA/CPRA — and note that we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, so there is nothing for you to opt out of.
If your request concerns data inside your own HubSpot portal about your customers, we'll refer you to the controller — you — because we're not permitted to act on it ourselves.
We operate from the United States and our providers are predominantly US-based, so your data will be processed in the United States. If you're outside the US, that means a transfer to a country whose data protection rules may differ from your own. Where our providers offer standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards for that transfer, we rely on them.
We use multi-factor authentication on every account that touches client data, we take the minimum portal access needed, and we don't move client data onto local machines or personal storage. No system is perfect, and we won't claim ours is — if something goes wrong that affects you, we'll tell you promptly and plainly.
FaeWorks sells to businesses. This site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have, write to us and we'll delete it.
If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle data belonging to people who have already bought from us, we'll email them rather than rely on you noticing.
